Print Production Manager

You and your role

As a Production Manager, you will play a key role in our team.  Working alongside an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for producing multiple direct mail packages for a variety of clients.  You will oversee mailings from approved design, through the print and production process, to mailing.

You will manage relationships with a variety of print and mailhouse suppliers.  You will also be responsible for leading product research and innovation for clients’ mailings.  

You bring with you at least 2-3 years of print production experience, specifically direct mail (either agency or client side).  You are well-versed in the principles of design and print production.  We are open to considering the applications of individuals with comparable skills and a personality that fits with our company ethic.

You are a ‘self-starter’ who is able to hit the ground running, and thrives in a busy, creative, results-oriented role. You are dedicated to producing an error-free, top-performing product in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. You know how to manage project budgets and how to stick to them.

You are skilled in time and project management. You are comfortable communicating by phone, e-mail and in meetings.  You have a natural aptitude to foresee logistical problems and to be pro-active.  You can keep your eye on the big picture, while having above-average focus and attention to detail.

Account Coordinator

Harvey McKinnon Associates is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of Account Coordinator in our Toronto office.

As a member of the Toronto account team, you'll work within an overall framework of account, design, and production teams.  While you will work under the direction and leadership of an account manager, you will work directly with a variety of clients and contribute to the success of their direct response campaigns.  Your strong time management skills will help you keep projects on schedule.

  • highly adept with Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows
  • willing to ask questions, grow and learn
  • willing to admit when you make a mistake, and to learn from it
  • a proven team player who is equally effective working independently
  • direct response experience an asset but not required
